Man jumps into Lagos Lagoon
There is commotion on the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge as a yet-to-be identified man has jumped from the bridge into the Lagos lagoon. The Nation reports that the incident which occurred on Friday, October 20, made officials of the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA), Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Marine Police and other stakeholders rush to the scene to rescue the victim. The incident was also confirmed by a Twitter user as seen below in a tweet: As at the time of publishing this report there was no confirmation as to whether the victim had been rescued by the officials.
